Sunday Update

Last week I passed a kidney stone.

The radiology tests now show I have appendicitus. I will be meeting with a urosurgeon to discuss my condition, which I strongly suspect means surgery this week.

The GOP better win on Tuesday - I sure don't need any more pain in that region.

  2. Well, since it sounds like you're going to have a miserable week anyhow, you might as well accept the Democratic victory!

Hang in there - I'm sorry to hear you're suffering.

I hope and pray you feel better soon. I also hope and pray the Republicans pull this out so your misery this week is limited. Election Day is my birthday this year and I am hoping for a good birthday present...Republican hold of both House and Senate.

Well, at least tell us, which is worse?

    - Taking a mid-term
    - Passing a kidney stone

    You have done both recently

You have appendicitis and you haven't had surgery yet? I was in surgery three hours after the pain began, and my appendix burst in the surgeon's hand.

Feel better soon, DJ - and no worries - we're going to keep the Senate for sure, and it may be a squeaker on the House - we'll keep that too.
