Since at least four Muslims are killed by terrorists for every American soldier, it is as much for them as anyone else to pray that God frees them of the monsters in their midst.DJ Drummondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11583885371076583265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7767671.post-1139657218320180502006-02-11T05:26:00.000-06:002006-02-11T05:26:00.000-06:00I like some parts of your essay. But propaganda no...I like some parts of your essay. But propaganda nonetheless.

I however cannot help but keep coming back to the conclusion that you ignore some basics tenets of Islam and Muslims that, when studied closely (such as Bat Ye'or has done), erode many of the foundations or premises that you have laid out.

#1, I would say that even your average, friendly, peaceful Muslim secretly thinks very lowly of non-muslims no matter what the face they put on. Even if some do actually have good personal non-muslim friends, they would not be very open about it in a muslim culture. This basic tenet, the Islamic doctrine of putting Muslims above all others, is a permanent brick that cannot be squared no matter how much the non-muslim (or even Muslim) wishes it not to be.

#2, in connection with my point above, every Muslim believes in the ultimate Islamic doctrine of conquering all mankind. Islam demands (even at the "friendly, peaceful" level) that you and I be converted eventually. You cannot square this brick either. This brick is what ultimately leads over a billion Muslims to pursue different paths toward accomplishing this goal. Some of course like to blow people up. Some openly support the headchoppers but would never do it themselves. Some quietly support the headchoppers. Some abhor the "means to the ends" and wish true peace. But in any case, they ALL support the end goal of you and I becoming Muslim. Yes, please do square that one.

#3, is the Koran itself. Every Muslim believes in it literaly. And that brick cannot be squared. I too have read the Koran. It is a collection of writings over probably a 30 year period. As they new religion needed an edict, saying or story, viola, so it shall be written! It is confusing, without narrative. It contradicts itself in just about everything. Need to show that we tolerate infidels? Wham! Here is the passage. Need to show where we don't like infidels? Wham! There is a passage. The book is written with such a forked tongue that I cannot even fathom anyone with half a brain actually believes it at all. It is often a violent book and its God is often vengeful. It is a book that allows you to be morally low as a means to an end. That cannot be squared. It is the book that launched a 1400 year conquest to this day and I say it is evil. Please do not try and even prove different to me as I have not the patience and don't want to waste your time. And to me, you cannot square the evil that is the Koran.

As if the Koran isn't bad enough, no worry! Islam has a LOT of supplemental religious material to fill in the holes in order to confuse and subjugate mankind.

And stop with the moral equivalency arguments as you slyly make them to prop up your thesis even if you think your not.

Why not just try and give direct examples of Muslims and Islam to make your arguments? You honestly cannot and thats why your arguments came from the direction of moral equvilancy for the most part.

Look, I know what you are trying to accomplish. You are feeding the propaganda mill and your essay is helping to keep non-muslims to rise up and declare outright war on a billion plus people.

I do agree with your conclsuion somewhat that we must continue to transform the Middle East. For as we westernize the Muslim lands with our (Judeo-Christian) ideals, they will (hopefully) turn away from Islam.

The trick is to not let them get too riled up and in on the secret that indeed we wish to make them "less Muslim".

And other policy we pursue that does not have the end goal of making them "less muslim" will indeed fail in the long run.

Osama Bin Laden was keenly perceptive that Western ideals (which remember are inherently Judeo-Christian) would impede Islam from accomplishing its ultimate goal of world domination. And remember EVERY muslim believes in this goal. He even sensed that Western ideals may even reverse that trend.

Islamic terrorism is nothing knew DJ. It has ben an integral method of conquest since its founding.

Lying has also been a method. And treachery. And yes, peaceful conversion has been a method as what sinful human is not attracted to a religion that grants absolute power (often babaric) to the male?

Oh wait shall we take a secret poll of muslim women worldwide to see what they really think of being a muslim is like? Need I talk about that aspect of Islam?

I will leave you with one final set of thoughts: If you claim to be a Christian, do you not believe in Christ's return to earth?

Who do you think the armies of good as described in the book of Revelations will be fighting?

Space Aliens?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
